How re:score works

Short answer: you give re:score one domain. It reads one page the way a crawler does — the raw HTML as served, no JavaScript executed — runs a fixed set of checks, and gives you a score out of 100, the six dimensions behind it, and the evidence it observed for every check. Paid licences get the ranked list of what to fix and a re-check that says whether the fix worked.

What is read

One page: the URL you enter (the licence binds to its domain on the first score). The engine fetches it once and works from that response. Anything injected by JavaScript after load is not observed — which is also how most AI assistants read a page. Every report states its scope: one page, read once, rule set 2026.09.1.

What is measured

DimensionWhat it answersWeight
Search presenceCan a search engine crawl, parse and rank the page?22
Named by AICan an AI assistant read the page and name the brand in an answer?20
How you’re listedIs the business identity consistent where it appears? Excluded — shown as “Not applicable” — when there is no physical-presence evidence.18
Depth of your pagesDo pages answer real questions and show they are current?15
Profiles that matchDo external profiles corroborate the same entity?13
Brand awarenessIs the brand recognised beyond its own website? Proxy signals only.12

A dimension that does not apply to you — an online-only business has no shop to list — is excluded and shown as Not applicable, and your score is normalised over the dimensions that do apply. It is never scored as zero.

What you get

How a fix is proven

When you mark an action done, re:score runs a fresh read of the same page. The action closes only if the newer evidence no longer shows the finding; if it still does, the action stays open and says so. A report from before your change can never confirm a change — that is a rule, not a preference.

What it does not do

It does not edit your site, submit anything on your behalf, create listings or profiles, or promise rankings, traffic or AI citations. It measures, ranks and re-measures.
